On November 16th, 2024, we had the honor of hosting an event in the Bay Area to welcome Lindy Waters III. This special gathering brought together tribal leaders, Native non-profits, and community members to celebrate collaboration and unity. The event marked an exciting step forward as we expand our efforts to inspire and support Native youth. Together, we’re building connections and creating opportunities to empower the next generation.

This coverage highlights the tournament's success in fostering community engagement and promoting youth empowerment through sports. "Once I started giving back during my college years, I began to notice the attendance at my games and how our stories could inspire others. It became personal, and I felt the responsibility to serve as that inspiration for many."

Lindy was named a top 5 finalist for the NBA Social Justice Award. The OKC Thunder congratulated him, and emphasized that the impact of his efforts "are felt in Oklahoma and beyond, inspiring others and serving as a catalyst for change while supporting Native American youth and Indigenous communities."
